Romantic Santa Barbara Courthouse Elopement

It’s been a crazy year trying to navigate the wedding season with COVID and making sure that couples have a safe, but beautiful, opportunity to say “I do” and start an exciting new chapter in life. When Krissy and Patrick came to me with the idea of a romantic afternoon elopement at the Santa Barbara courthouse it seemed like a perfect day.

The intimacy of the afternoon was beautiful and it is amazing to see how each couple is finding new ways to make their elopement day true to themselves. Krissy and Patrick loved the historic charm to Santa Barbara and escaped Los Angeles to stay at the Belmond El Encanto to celebrate their elopement. From the hotel to the courthouse - each part of their elopement day was beautiful and we were able to capture so many gorgeous photos all throughout Santa Barbara.

While certain parts of the ceremony looked a little different than normal everything turned out beyond our wildest dreams and it was truly an honor to capture this day.
