Where to Host Your Rehearsal Dinner in Palm Springs

April 10, 2019

You are planning a destination wedding and have chosen the perfect venue, an incredible team of vendors and curated all of the pretty details to make the wedding absolutely spectacular.

While the wedding day is the most important part one of the questions I get asked the most is where to host a rehearsal dinner in Palm Springs! Some brides will choose to host a dinner party at their venue the night before but this can be a pricey option.

Not to worry I’ve teamed up with one of Palm Spring’s leading wedding planners Stacey Jones Event Design to bring you a full recap of where to dine and mingle with your guests before the big day!

Spencer’s Restaurant of Palm Springs is located at the base of the mountain tucked behind the heart of the desert. Not only is this place a prime location but the views are truly unbeatable and is a must-have for the ultimate Palm Springs experience.

The BEST part about Spencer’s is the desert views!

I personally love Eight4Nine Restaurant & Lounge because not only do they offer a contemporary event space but they have endless menu selections that are perfect for all budgets. Willie and his team know the meaning of hospitality and you come in as friends and leave as family.

Pro Tip: Many weddings in Palm Springs are a destination so I think it’s important to include guests in the entire weekend to make it a fun experience. If couples want to have a traditional rehearsal dinner you can host it early and then invite guests for drinks to follow. Another popular options is to have a wonderful welcome party with apps and drinks for all to come too.

If couples are looking for something less formal Draughtsman now offers an outdoor patio for small groups or Wexler’s at ARRIVE is now accepting private party bookings. For a couple wanting city lights and a magnificent view of Palm Springs then The Kimpton Rowan is the place to go.

Some Other Favorites

El Mirasol Restaurant at Los Arboles

Tommy Bahamas

Trio Restaurant

Lulu California Bistro

AC3 at Hotel Paseo in Palm Desert

4 Saints at The Kimpton Rowan

Best of luck choosing where to dine since they are all amazing options!
